The Legacy Artistes team
Legacy Artistes will be launching their new dynamic website – a portal for the Hospitality industry and selected International entertainers. The launch represents a paradigm shift for the hospitality entertainment sector.
The company are offering the concept of solutions for hospitality brands – a completely fresh (and long overdue) approach to understanding how entertainment interacts with and relates to hospitality brand positioning. No more just the contracting of entertainers because they look good or sound good, or someone likes them, or as in many cases, it’s the cheapest option – but rather defining firstly what type of guests an hotel plans to attract to a particular outlet, what style of entertainment would suite the outlet, and then procuring and providing appropriate professional entertainers, especially entertainers who have gained invaluable experience performing in the competitions outlets.
As a special focus, Legacy Artistes offer solutions to entertainment related issues- whether it be providing the best and most appropriate entertainers or assisstance with defining the correct music style and ambience for an outlet, which will best reflect the hotels brand positioning.

Warm-up party – East China region – Fifa 2010 soccer world cup launch party (Beijing, China)

Legacy Artistes recently consulted with and supplied the live entertainment for the Fifa 2010 warm-up party held in Beijing for the East China region. The party served as a warm-up excitement generator for the soccer world cup which will be held in South Africa in 2010.
Legacy Artistes sourced, trained and supplied authentic South African entertainment, amongst which was a high-energy Afro-Jazz band who performed unique South African ‘township’ jazz, a danceable and exciting sound. The entire event was themed with food stalls and decor reminiscent of South African sporting events, and was set as a ‘taster of typical daily South African sports life’ for tourists who will be travelling to the soccer world cup.
More than 100 dignatories braved the 500 noisy sports ‘fans’ and donned casual sports wear for the event, blending into the crowd unnoticed, and joining in the revelry. Similar events are to be held worldwide soon, the first being Beijing.
Logos of the official sponsors of the event and a hand-written welcome message from the South African Ambassador.
Live-wire South African band delivered an exciting performance for two hours and put everyone in a great party mood.
Revelry from the party-goers in sportswear, crazy wigs and blowing “vuvuzelas” – a noisy trumpet like instrument that is a mainstay of soccer and other sports matches across South Africa. The instrument comes in the various colors found on the South African flag and is very easy to learn to play.
